Feb. 6, 2026 – How can it already be 2026?! We truly hope 2025 ended on an exceptional note and 2026 is starting off wonderful for all your families and friends!
One positive thing of time moving fast is we are once again planning and looking forward to another epic summer at Shady Trails! In a blink of an eye Shady Trails will come alive with the laughter, fun, smiles, and contagious energy of your kids and we can’t wait for that magic to continue this summer!
There is important information included in this letter, so please read carefully. Please never hesitate to email or call with any questions you may have.
The dates have been updated and once again, we are thrilled to offer six weeks of camp. The dates will be:

PLEASE NOTE THAT A NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT OF $150 IS DUE AT REGISTRATION IN ORDER TO HOLD YOUR CHILDREN’S PLACE AT CAMP.
If we do not receive a deposit, that spot/spots will open up again and may not be available. Due to the number of people wanting to attend camp, we will be diligent in keeping to the deposit being due at registration in order to hold a spot!
PAYMENT IN FULL IS DUE BY MAY 17TH
If payment is not received by May 17th, the spot/spots will be opened up and we can not ensure there will be space. You are welcome to pay in full at registration if you prefer. We definitely want to make sure if you sign up that your spot is there for your child/ children.
The cost of camp is $375 per week.
We are working on other forms of payment while not adding on cost and will keep all posted if that works out. As of now it is still check, cash, or money order.
It takes a while to record all the registrations and we will try to get back with you asap to let you know we received yours.
When the registrations come through, it is in chronological order so we will record all the information as soon as possible. If a week happens to fill up before we can get all the information recorded we will rely on the date/time of registration.

WE ASK THAT NO ONE DRIVE DOWN THE DRIVEWAY OR COME ON TO CAMPUS FOR ANY REASON DURING THE DAY.
If there is a situation where you need to pick up your child early PLEASE, contact us as soon as possible (231-386-9880). We will bring your child to you take care of our children, thank you for understanding!
We will again be doing an online store with “Threads Custom Design” in which you can do your shopping, payment and shipping of Shady Trails apparel all in one place. The online store will be open for a certain amount of time and when it closes “Threads” will create and send your at the drop off/pick up area. This world has made it clear that we need to do what we can to items to you. It takes about 2-3 weeks after the store closes to receive the items. This spring we will have the store open 4 different times:
1st date: March 2 – March 20
2nd date: April 13 – May 1
3rd date: May 18 – June 5
4th date: June 15 – June 24

Lastly, we will be collecting extra pennies and coins as part of some fun activities/ competitions between cabins so keep saving those extra coins!
